Dhoni Started IPL Countdown


Chennai Super Kings have their commander back in the nook. MS Dhoni showed up in Chennai on Sunday to start preparations for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. he upcoming release of IPL will also mark MS Dhoni's arrival to competitive cricket after close to 8 months of absence.

Chennai Super Kings posted a photograph of MS Dhoni from the air terminal in Chennai. The 3-time champions also took to social media to post a video of Dhoni arriving at the team inn from the air terminal.

As expected, Dhoni can be seen surrounded by fans who are enthusiastic about getting a photo with the World Cup-winning former India chief. Dhoni was accompanied by CSK team manager Russell Radhakrishnan as he made his way into the lodging.

A yellow rose bunch was given to MS Dhoni as the skipper got a saint's welcome on his arrival to the city that loves and cherishes him.

Leg-spinner Piyush Chawla, who was purchased at the IPL 2020 closeout for an incredible count of Rs 6.75 crore, also showed up in Chennai alongside Ambati Rayudu and Karn Sharma.



MS Dhoni has not played competitive cricket since India's World Cup 2019 exit in July last year.
